Originally from Ireland, James McComish moved to Barcelona in 2017 after studying Electrical Engineering in London. He is a designer who creates unique, handmade lamps with a range of materials.

From minimal, steel and concrete designs, to more traditional wood and rope lamps, he experiments with various styles and forms of lighting. The aim of each lamp is to allow the material, light, and shape to complement eachother to produce interesting and unique pieces.

 

His work features in a number of venues around Barcelona and can be found on display at selected music, art, and design events.
