Installation Collections \\ Colour Wheel
The installation, designed and built to feature at an exhibition in Barcelona, takes the simple concept of the colour wheel and turns it into a beautiful and ever changing visual experience.
The four LED tubes provide the four main colours of the colour wheel around the edges of a freely suspended white circle. The colours blend and mix to produce the full spectrum of colours across the central circle, and various sequences are programmed to run in order to highlight the possibilities of different blends of colour.
The simple concept provides an interesting and ever changing result as the suspended centre spins freely in the wind. The idea it that people can access and touch the circle to create the blends of colour they wish to see.
